2009 will see Plasma Clean spreading its wings by taking its innovative technology on the road. We are proud of our odour control and grease reduction systems, so it is important to let as many people as possible see and learn more about our products, direct from the people who invented and developed them.

Our first stop was the Hotel and Catering Show at the Bournemouth International Centre. The show was well attended and we managed to attract a good number of visitors to our exhibition. The Xtract 2100 series was on show, as were a few members of the Plama Clean team.

October 2008

Plasma Clean have recently teamed up with Hydes Brewery and the Tameside Environmental Health Service, to ensure that local residents are not exposed to odours extracted from their new restaurant kitchen.

The family owned Pub Company, have recently unveiled its new flagship pub, The Joshua Bradley at Gee Cross near Hyde, Cheshire. The £3m project converted the imposing nineteenth century building from what was originally a private hall, and plasma clean became a key part of this project by installing one of its Plasma Clean Xtract odour control systems.

The Plasma Clean Xtract 2100 series is fast becoming a well established air purification product, designed for commercial kitchens. It works by injecting ozone, ions and free radicals into the extraction ductwork to assist in the removal of odour, smoke and grease build up. Ozone is widely recognised as a method of odour control, but it’s the process by which the Plasma Clean Xtract produces ozone that makes it revolutionary. And what’s more, the Plasma Clean Xtract will help you to significantly reduce capital and running costs, and be at the forefront of the clean, green, odour control revolution.

Local Entrepreneur Cleans Up in Dolphins Den PDF Print E-mail

Plasma Clean’s recently installed odour control system has been heralded a success in eliminating cooking smells from The Dolphin Fish Bar and Restaurant in Gorton.

The system, called Xtract is a brand new air purification product, designed for commercial kitchens, incorporating patented plasma technology. It works by injecting ozone, ions and free radicals into the extraction ductwork to assist in the removal of odour, smoke and grease build up. The Xtract unit sits outside of the main ductwork and therefore performance is not compromised by grease and smoke particles.  This also allows for installation with only minor modifications to the existing system.

Xtract will cost about half the price of UV systems to install and 30% less than chemical systems.  With no chemical consumables and a minimal maintenance requirement, long-term costs are greatly reduced whether the system is retro-fitted to existing equipment or newly installed. The unit is unobtrusive and quiet, adding no extra noise in the kitchen which, added to its other advantages gives Xtract a long-term advantage over rival odour control systems.
