David Glover PhD - Managing Director and Founder

David has worked in the technology sector for the past 17 years and has been involved in developing and financing a number of early stage technology businesses. David has a doctorate in environmental microbiology and started his career by studying the role of environmental micro-organisms in pollution control. Although the focus has now switched from microbes to plasmas, the common theme has always been to help create a cleaner, safer and better environment.

Paul Haythornthwaite - Business Development Manager

Paul Joined the Plasma Clean team from a global Blue Chip Company, where he was the UK Business Development Manager for 3 years. Since his arrival in March 2010, Paul has built some strong relationships both in the UK and Global markets and is looking forward to further expanding and developing new markets and opportunities for the Plasma Clean technologies.

Nick Wroe- Marketing Manager

Nick is an experienced marketing professional whose campaign and process management experience has proved invaluable to the business. His branding expertise has helped increase awareness of Plasma Clean and its products, while establishing a strong reputation for the business within the air purification market.

Alec Middleton- Sales Manager

As Sales Manager for Plasma Clean, Alec has been largely responsible for establishing the Xtract product in the UK market. His knowledge of the Plasma Clean product portfolio and selling into a range of markets has allowed him to assist with the marketing and communications for a number of new Plasma Clean technologies. After success in establishing distributor relationships in Australia and New Zealand, Alec is now looking to establish the Plasma Clean brand and products within key markets accross the world.

Christopher Whitehead - Founder

Professor Christopher Whitehead is the founding inventor of Plasma Clean, having developed the core plasma technology whilst conducting research focused on the chemistry taking part in gas discharges or plasmas. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (C.Chem, FRSC) Christopher has 20 years experience in research and applications in plasma chemistry, and has interests in plasmas for the treatment of waste gas streams, such as diesel exhausts and solvents, for the purification of indoor air, the destruction of odours and the fabrication of electronic devices by the plasma etching of semiconductors.




Robin Elshout - Production Director

Robin brings over 20 years manufacturing and entrepreneurial experience into Plasma Clean as well as a strong track record in the deoderisation and purification market. His wide experience and knowledge working as a Building Services Consulting Engineer both in the UK and the US, has been extremely beneficial in the design and application of new plasma filtration systems. Robin is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and a Chartered Engineer of 10 years standing.


Bruce Noble- Chairman

Bruce brings a wealth of business experience to Plasma Clean. His background is Senior Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co; Chairman and Managing Director of Pillsbury UK; Group Managing Director of of Grand Metropolitain Foods, and more recently, owner of the Swandean School of English which he sold in 2005. He is a Chair of Governors at the Harris Academy at Peckham and Trustee of the charity Catch22, formed by the merger of Rainer and Crime Concern.
